Am I the only one who loved this movie?
Doesn't seem like it's getting a lot of love here. It's one of my favorites of the year.

This doesn't seem to getting a lot of chatter here in moviechat.org either.
I had this disc from Netflix sitting at my house for several weeks, always avoiding because I knew nothing about it and it sounded like a possible downer and yada yada. I now wish I hadn't waited.
It's extremely well done: acted, directed, filmed, scored, etc. Just an perfect candidate for a classic. This is one of those films sure to endure.
J.A. Bayona is a genius. I have to watch The Orphanage now.
I love films that tell a fairytalish story in them like this one, the princess bride, a series of unfortunate events . . .they are always good to me. Can you think of more?
