LV-426 and other nods to classic sci-fi
Im at 10:30 into the film and already the female lead opens a case of testing equipment with LV-426 written on the cover. (Aliens)
Anyone notice any other nods?

When they go to freeze it in the engine room with the portable 'scuba' tank of Nitrogen, the thing is pulling the body in like the first beast the Norwegian crew found under the building in The Thing (2011)
The crew of the Harbinger? Seven, just like the Nostromo crew. Cptn. Graff, Big G., Svet, Bowman, Dock, Atka & Roland. Stephen (the Prof.), Ronelle (student/Vid-Tech, & Steph (Graff's grand-daughter) were the tag-alongs, and then there was Sergei, the CCCP Cosmonaut.
