They all got their parts due to something

She was great, even if she basically played Madelyn Pryor (who, in my opinion, is a much more interesting character).

reply

I agree, I thought Sophie Turner was a good fit.

I'm curious how you think she played Madelyn Pryor more than Jean Grey though, that's an interesting assertion that I'd like to hear more of! I think there is a good chance that we'll see Madelyn Pryor in the next mainstream X-Men movie, and it would be an interesting twist if the Jean Grey in X-Men Apocalypse was actually her clone, Madelyn! And that Mister Sinister has the real Jean in one of his laboratories somewhere. At any rate I'd like to hear why you think Sophie Turner played her character her closer to Madelyn than Jean.

reply

Yeah all wrong terrible nothing alluring about her Scott can have her. Shes no Famke Janssen.

reply

Shes no Famke Janssen.

I can't agree more. But with opposite conclusions. I hated Famke's interpretation and never felt the slightest chemistry with James.

She wasn't good in this, acting and looks wise. She might get better although that Dark Phoenix film looks terrible
