sharei agree the 1st one was awesome since back then none of us have yet seen a non-cartoony transformer. Seeing in the beginning when the chopper transformed blew my mind hell my eyeballs almost popped out from sockets i was going whoaaaa for like 5 minutes. Ok maybe not 5 minutes but ya michael bay did that pretty well i think. I mean he's made quite a few good and exciting action movies in the past. Now he makes a couple of bad ones and suddenly we dont think he's a good director anymore? cmon guys givem a chance lol
sharesorry i have no idea about the cartoon version, i tried to watch it in 80s could not bear it, i just did not like the cartoon at all, so my perspective is about the movie, i do not care about the director as this movie was not GANDHI it was that i love sci-fi popcorn movies, it did it with me, i had no expeditions that this movie was going to end world hunger and wars, same goes for the most movies this days, stop judging these people are making movies which makes millions in profits than they make other movies, which makes me think it is being paid to watch by lots of lots of people, so the argument is just plain stupid.
