I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the final fight between Jake Gyellenhaal and Conor McGregor. I thought Jake "killed the bad guy."
But the final scene of the movie -- post credits -- is Conor breaking out of the hospital and heading out -- naked butt on full view under his patient's smock -- to take over an ambulance and escape.
Right?

Actually, a spin-off sounds more likely. I guess Mcgregor’s huge ego will make us sit through another 2 hours of his atrocious acting some time next year

shareNo producer in their right mind would let Conor be killed. Lets face it. Whether you like him or not, Conor has a huge fan following. The way the entertainment industry works is you get paid not by your talents but by the amount of people you can bring to the theaters. One of the main draws of the movie was that it is the movie where Conor Mcgregors enters into hollywood.
And from the producers point of view if the movie goes on to become a hit, they would be thinking of a sequel to cash in on the popularity and they would want Conor again to reprise the role to again bring in his star power.
Financially it would not be possible to kill off such a popular star.
