Compared to the original From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) film...

... as well as its two sequels - Texas Blood Money and The Hangman's Daughter, both from 1999, what is this series like? Is it as good in any way as the original and how much better is it than either sequel? Cheers.

It re-adapts the story from the movie (at least the first season). Honestly, I didn't like it as much. Almost every story change made me think of how much better that aspect was in the movie. Also, I couldn't get over the recasting in this.

Maybe the show got better later on, but I gave up after the first season.
