Day time vampires?
Since when can vampires walk around in the daylight?
In the original movie they couldn't.
i think when they killed the queen the vampites were cured. when they were before wearing protected things on them when they were out in the sun they were ok. richie was out of the car and was running a bit the eclipse covered the sun and then he ran to the cave. after it was all done no one was wearing any protective gears so they wouldn't keep burning. they didn't have anything like that when were out in the open. werewolf lure is about if you kill the one that made you that way you would be human again. the movie the lost boys jason patric was giving some blood in a drink to turn him. keifer did that and he was turned by edward herrmann who was THE vampire who made others. when he was killed all who were turned went back to normal. don't know if that was true to other vampire movies or lure.
sharegood points. but can you tell me why Carlos was able to stand being in the sun at the border crossing? I must have missed something because he seems to have some special power for sunlight resistance.
Another time I think he mentioned he didn't want to stay in the sunlight for too long, so he apparently didn't have total resistance to sunlight, but he was able to stand direct sunlight for a while without his skin burning.
Most of the others begin to burn up as soon as the sunlight hits them. When Kate's friend saved her and Seth he burned up completely in a few seconds.
But Richie was able to walk in the sun for a while before the eclipse; the skin on his face was burning but he didn't burn all the way like others do.
So there is either some special ability available to some of them or the show is just inconsistent on this point.
