God awful acting from Garrett Hedlund

Apparantly I am the only one who enjoyed his character. Now Blackbeard is another story....

I'd blame his performance on the director. I've seen him in other movies and he is a good actor.

Hedlund was rather bland.

It's that man again!!

Nobody covered themselves in glory... but yeah, he was one of the worst.






"Your mother puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?!"

Saw this film yesterday and I'm saying something I've never before been able to say: "One actor ruined an entire film."

What were they thinking? The film was kids' movie, not exactly "high art", and it could have been a good one. It was exciting, the story was interesting, the costumes and effects were cool, and all (but one) of the actors did their jobs well.

However, every time that guy opened his mouth, I wanted to cringe. Did he think this was some kind of a parody? Did he think that god-awful persona was cute? What? I'm at a loss for words on this one....
