DD has super senses but besides that he is a normal human, yes in great shape with great fighting skills. In almost all his fight scenes he takes beatings that would kill a normal man. And he may do this 2 or 3 times in 1 day. I guess with this kind of will power he can take on the Hulk.

He knows self-healing meditation that Stick taught him which is almost supernatural too.
They actually show him using it a few times in the show or did you conveniently forget?

Look at the beatings John McClane takes in the Die Hard series. The beating he takes from Alexander Godunov in the first one would kill a normal man, too. Action films/shows do it all the time.
