What an immature love story...

This is a trend I find disturbing. Instead of seeing what's right in front of them, both protagonists continue to obsess over a past fling based on momentary emotions and drama. The girl is so moody and annoying, and constantly lets the guy get in her head and sabotage her current relationship. The guy is a self-doubting, obsessed idiot who overlooks his other options completely. Neither wants to build a life with someone based on mutual respect and admiration, it's all about toxic infatuation. This is made abundantly clear by the third episode. By the 6th(final?) episode, they both have decided to not grow up, and we're supposed to be happy about it, as if their relationship would be any different the second time around. Meanwhile, the people who actually treat them as adults and want the best for them get rejected, and can't be introduced to each other because they speak different languages. Bummer.
