Why? Why does KStew continue to get hired?

This poor mislead young lady thinks herself an actress.
With an open mouth and a frozen face as her universal tool to express every emotion I cannot understand why she was hired for this project or any other? Couldn't be her unchanged hair and looping it behind her ear that EVERY single character she portrays? Couldnt be her constant slumped and frumpy demeanor? Couldn't be her dark and tiny eyes? Couldn't be her slight, "Nine year old boy" body?

There are SO many talented, graceful, beautiful young actresses who demonstrate RANGE AND DIVERSITY!

For the love of Cinima, please stop hiring this person and delight us all with an actress who will add to the tapestry of the story!

She is cast precisely because of the things criticized. She won the French equivalent of the Oscar earlier this year.

Great. Another Stewart bashing. I wonder when people will drop it. The trend has lasted long enough already. Her and Eisenberg's performances, not forgetting their chemistry, are the saving graces of the movie.

Directors hire K-Stew because she spreads her legs for them.

Are you implying that Kristen was cast in films such as Panic Room, Into the Wild, Twilight and Adventureland because she did sexual favors for directors in return? That would constitute rape on the part of these directors if what you say is true since she was under the age of 18 in all those films.

Many of the roles she has received in the past and continues to receive to this day are based on her stellar performances in those aforementioned films--well, with the exception of Twilight.

Just wanted to throw that out to illustrate how ridiculous your comment was.

As I said, people have short memories. do you not recall the scandal on the set of "Snow White & the Huntsman?" Stewart had an affair with the director, who had a wife and children. She destroyed their marriage and the family. It's a known fact. A word of advice; before you call someone else' comment "ridiculous," make sure you know what you are talking about, or you might wind up sounding like a moron who has his head stuffed up his ass..

When a hater says this you can count on their known fact being something that they're illness fabricates... for you see, this hater has no clue what the facts are. Haters like this individual are usually motivated to interpret based on agenda.

You see, we (the public) don't know what the real story was behind their public pictures... and the fact that a marriage ended might not have had anything to do with that so called affair. Rumor (and that is all you know) has them on a very rock relationship before Snow White was filmed - did you not know this? Ah yes... your agenda doesn't allow you to entertain any FACTS other than the ones that support your hatred... or who knows, gullibility.

So, you thought by spewing your response that it justifies the statement that the actress spreads her legs for all directors. You know that statement is ridiculous, yet you spin to try and discredit the statement by claiming people have short memories.

Sorry, Rob Pattinson lover, you are the one sounding like a moron with their head stuffed up your azz.

All of these no-talent celebrity whores are trashy, self indulgent brats, and I don't care about any of them, other than the fact that they are fun to laugh at. I notice that you are always defending K. Stewart. Why? Because she's "pretty?" Because you have a lesbian crush? I have news for you; Stewart wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. These people don't care about you, so why do you care about them? I have respect for certain celebrities, i.e..the ones who actually have talent, but if you are worshiping these bimbos, then your mind is very unhealthy..get a job, and stop kissing K-Stews ungrateful, untalented ass.

Her character felt very real. Real people behave like Kristen Stewart.

Not once while watching this did I see Jodie Foster's son in Panic Room.

I know you got lots of hatred for saying this. Personally, I agree with you completely. The only way she'd be a great casting choice would be if a film has a role for a bored girl.

In "American Ultra," she barely smiled during the funny scenes, and barely registered fear during the violent scenes.

How sad to think that of all the other actresses out there -- actresses who can actually portray believable emotion -- that good roles end up going to her instead.

Imagine how good "American Ultra" could have been if Jesse Eisenberg had been paired with an actual actress.
