Did this take place in the dark timeline?
Because it doesn't make much sense if this is supposed to happen after the end of Future Past where Logan meets Jane again and everything is good.

shareI don't see how it can take place in the original prime timeline where the Sentinels had mutants in concentration camps, since Xavier was killed off in 2013 in that timeline.
Officially, I believe this film is set six years after the "good" future timeline created by Wolverine altering history, though its also hard to reconcile what we see in this movie with everything being fine and dandy just six years earlier.
Ummmm...I'm not sure. DOFP erased Origins from continuity, however this movie had callbacks to precisely that flick, mainly -SPOILERS- the adamantium bullet.
I believe this happened in a completely alternate dimension, with no links to either the original or "corrected" timelines. I don't think there is any way to reconcile it with either.
