Anyone else think Season 2 is it?

The way the plot seems to be moving, anyone think this season is gonna be it for the show?

reply

NO!!! At least I hope not. Maybe Season 3 will have 12 episodes, then Season 4 will have 14 and so forth and so on. The storylines are unlimited... any show that can concoct a feud between people of the same height who call themselves Giants and Dwarves can do ANY kind of material they want for as long as they want.

But if, God forbid, there is no next season, I commend everyone involved with giving me (and other viewers) a unique show that never fails to make me laugh out loud and entertains me more than anything else on TV these days. (But I really don't want it to end yet.)

Despite its numbers, it was renewed for a second season last year. I hope we'll be lucky enough this year as well. They still need something to air during the Once Upon a Time break, right :)

This show is infinitely better than Once Upon a Time. I look forward to Galavant a heck of a lot more than I look forward to OUAT... It used to be such a good show in it's first two seasons. A pity really.

I think it even started to go downhill during season 2. Regina was a great villain, but her redemption storylines were quite awful. I personally enjoy Galavant a lot more than Once Upon a Time as well.

OUAT is starting to get on my nerves.

reply

Sadly, yes.

I think that either:

1) Menken signed a two-season deal to start with, or
2) Season 2 was a BIG concession to Menken since he’s a power player at Disney.

If the ratings remain low, I think they will finish out this story line and Galavant will hang up his sword.

I would LOVE to be wrong, though.

Dude, it’s Beacon Hills.

reply

I hope it's the last and wrapping with a satisfying conclusion for all!

reply

Yep. The minute Richard pulled the sword free it seemed very clear to me that the story was heading to a grand "reclaiming of the throne" conclusion.

I certainly hope they went into season 2 with that assumption. If there is an additional season that would be great, but it seems unlikely and I would hate if this season ended without closure like that previous season did.

reply

I agree. It was already a surprise to get renewed, and the cast/crew seemed surprised by it too. This seasons ratings are even lower than last year despite the show being even better than it already was.

I do hope that it will get a third but I hope they at least wrap up the story and end it well with the likelihood that it will be the last one and not have a big cliffhanger like last year.

reply

I didn't think Season 1 was all that great, but have really enjoyed Season 2.

That being said, I think this is it.

reply

good question, I dont think it will be a massive cliff hanger like the first season, I think ppl will swap sides again. I think magdelana might kill gareth and rule with the wedding planner

I'm a contradiction 
