Mine's a toss up between "As Good As it Gets" and "Today We Rise"
Gwendolyn and the Chef are my two favorite characters, so whenever they have a song together, I immediately love it.
But "Today We Rise" is one of the best Les Mis parody songs I've heard because not only is it funny, but it is also musically very catchy.
What do you guys think?
The "Grease" parody number with the zombie chorus.
The night beckons, like a finger curling and uncurling as if to say "Hey, come here."
I'm glad so many people agreed on "Today We Rise", it was probably my favorite song of the series. It worked on every level -- the song itself was very catchy, the lyrics were hilarious, it was a tone-perfect parody of Les Mis, it was well-shot and funny throughout, and it served the story well. Great stuff all around.
shareOverall the second season songs were a big step up. So it's ironic that my favorite was the Jester's Recap song using the old Galavant tune. What can I say? I loves me a good reprise.
