Was Andy's return wasted ? And should we get excited by *** return?

SPOILER ALERT ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I was really looking forward Andy return after his end credit cameo in Curse of Chucky. After 2 films it was nice to get Chucky original nemesis back. From the cameo I was under the impression that he had become a bad ass and was really curious to know more about what happened to him.....Alas, his role in Cult felt nothing more like an extended cameo and come to think of it we know nothing about what happened to him between Part 3 and Cult, we know his mum is alive from the phone conversation in Curse but nothing more. He was in the film but he was very badly written, he felt completely bland. This is probably one of my biggest disappointment with Curse of Chucky, they brought a character that helped introduced the Franchise and completely wasted him.Now if it was not for that I would have been really excited by Kyle end credit cameo but she might return in the next one and used like a bland side character like they did with Andy :( I would love a Andy/Kyle team up in the next film, a real trow back to Part 2 but Mancini probably going to make the entire film about the now possessed Nicca ..
