Well, given I've already seen Transcendence, from what you've written there I don't think I need bother seeing this!

I actually thought transcendence was worse, but only slightly.

Wrong, one thing is different: Transcendence shot on film, Reminiscent shot on digital.

Imaging how embarrassing for Chris Nolan, your own sister in law doesn't care you "film is the king" bullshit.

Honestly after watching the movie, there’s a few similarities to Strange Days (1995).
The lead is somebody who specializes in memory retrieval and has a tenuous relationship with the law, he’s got an old flame with a shady past, he has a black best friend/partner who’s in love with him, plus all the political corruption and social upheaval in the background.
