A simple question for Christians

The world has >7 billion people, the vast majority aren't Christian.

Do you truly believe that anyone who does not share your religious beliefs is by definition going to 'hell' and not deserving?

Let's say there's a person living in a remote country who hasn't been exposed to Christianity (e.g. no missionaries). He lives a good, moral, decent life. But because he doesn't share your 'God', he's not worthy, right?

btw this is not how the religions like Hinduism/Buddhism work - they accept anyone and are based on your actions in this life.

Christianity is based on intolerance - you're 'with us or against us', sound familiar? You know what other religion shares this basic tenet - Islam. Both are very similar - one god, one prophet, non-believers are considered heretics.

Well, Islam and Christianity are both monotheistic, with everything that goes with monotheism, but beyond that, the differences far outweigh the similarities.

To answer your question, what the Bible says is that everybody deserves hell, including Christians. Christians aren't more worthy than anyone else.

As far as someone who lives in a remote part of the world, if that person would have accepted Christ, God will enable that person to hear about Christ.

Someone may be a "decent guy", but doing good things doesn't cancel out the bad things we do, and we all do things we know are wrong. It's like if a man commits a crime--he can't stand before the judge and say, "but I did a lot of good things too. I'm a decent guy. I know I robbed a bank, but--I'm not like other guys who go around attacking people and killing them all the time!" It doesn't change the fact that the guy committed a crime.

Concerning Hinduism and Buddhism, forgive me for asking, but do you decide what belief to follow based on what sounds the most tolerant, or based on what's true? Also, nobody can believe anything without also believing that everyone who doesn't hold that belief is wrong. It's not unique to Christianity. Pantheists believe monotheists are wrong. Atheists believe both are wrong.

Yes.

This I have no answer because I don't know, but for people like you, hell is what awaits you if you continue to deny God.
