This is Lee Daniels show. He like Mariah and is friends with her. she and he wanted her to be on the sow and she was. Nothing wrong with them doing something just for fun. At least it wasn't Beyonce...yet.

shareAs per usual Peope dislike confidence or "diva" esque personalities. Most people can't indentify or connect with that. Someone like beyonce who acts humble and makes music for the kiddies and "slays" is a lot more relatable lol. That's just people in general. And because she's not an old lady like patti labelle it's frowned upon. She acted fine and the song sounded good as well
shareYeah, if she acted humble and dressed down people would be calling her fake. Let Mariah be Mariah. If you love her it's fine, if you hate her, you're going to hate her no matter how she is. I'm indifferent and saw nothing wrong about her in the episode. She wasn't even in their long.
But people would've been the same if it were Janet Jackson, JLo, Rhianna or anyone else.
None of those three ever called themselves equals to Aretha, Gladys, and Tina as divas

shareFact is she did call herself that, and she's not in their league at all; she's a wannabe. You can lie to yourself all you want, but it's not the case. And Whitney was always eons better than Carey. She was definitely in that league.
shareThat's an opinion. I prefer Mariah over Whitney any day. A lot of people jumped on the Whitney train after she died but were clowning her because of her fried live vocals from her drug addiction. Those same people did the same thing to MJ with the pedo stuff. When it's Mariah's time, all the haters will be acting like they always loved her too. It never fails. People are fake.
