Not sure what to think

If it is in the spirit of his 90s movies, I'll enjoy it. If it is anything like his movies post-2001, then I will be mighty angrified.

Shooter McGavin is back and that's all that matters.

I eat pieces of shit like him for breakfast!

Comedians never get their funny back. Once it's gone, it's gone.

reply

That's what I'm afraid of.

Well Adam Sandler is 57 now and if you imagine Happy Gilmore playing golf today he would be on a Senior Tour. You just have to wonder if that Frat Boy humor would work when you are that age.

reply

lol great point. in no world whatsoever could Happy compete with today's young golfers. what's this story even gonna be?

Happy Gilmore 2: Shooter's Revenge

I enjoyed the first one but I was a teenager when the first one released. My humor has changed since then. If it's frat boy stuff, with passing gas and belching loud I can pass on this. I did enjoy the comedy in the new Bad boys Ride or Die movie this year. It was mature and not offending. I know Sandler has a certain comedic range. I see it's changed some over the years but many things are still the same with his humor.

I'll always laugh at fart jokes.

reply

I'm watching it no matter what. But whether it will be good, who knows.

I am guessing Happy takes on a role similar to Chubbs from the original, he mentors a younger golfer, and somehow, Shooter serves as a foil, either by being a PGA official, or as an opposing coach.
