Very good point. Besides, Puerto Ricans are not called Claire. Just doesn't work.

"Hispanic" isn't even a race, neither is Puerto Rican...that's like saying Long Island is a race. Jennifer is borderline white herself with some Native American ancestry. The Spanish language comes from Europe.
