I had been looking forward to this movie for very long and was pissed when it got delayed. Now it's finally out, but is getting mixed reviews.
I dunno... Do you recommend it on some level?
Ive read about the mixed reviews too. However, the movie won an award at fantasia fest so...???? That pretty much means we gotta see it for ourselves when it opens.

the mixed reviews are explain by the fact that some people dont like other genres mixed with horror. ( this is a horror/drama/fantasy movie ).
my opinion? dont waste your time reading reviews and see this movie cause its GOOD =)

I liked it, fair warning its only kind of a horror film. Its more fantasy and has a very well thought out happy but melancholy ending. I'm be honest I'll bawled my heart out the last 30 minutes. Hit a little too close to home.

It's good - I had reservations going in, because of the mixed reviews, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Just be aware it might feel a little quirky - it jumps from being creepy to pretty and is fairly low on dialogue - but it tells a good story by the end.
