Question on the scene where they faked an air flight. I've seen that exact thing in something else. Where the passengers are tricked into thinking they are really in the air, when actually they never left the ground. An old movie or TV episode? I know I've seen it, but can't put my finger on it.

There was a show called space cadets in 2005 on the BBC I think where they tricked people into thinking that they were in space. Don't know if that's what you're thinking of.

there was an old TV movie from the 90's I guess, about a private eye and a woman and a huge amount in a cheque the private eye burn it accidentally in the end while he is cooking a romantic dinner for the woman..
They trick the villain by using the same plane hoax..

You could be thinking of space cadets, a British tv series where member of the public were tricked into thinking they were in a space for a week, but the shuttle never left the warehouse

Not sure what you call "old" but i'm pretty sure on an old episode of the tv show Get Smart they did something similar. The people were blindfolded iirc, and they would tilt the seats back as if taking off.
