They try to explain some of the tricks but it is stupid and impossible anyway.

Mark Zuckemberg dissappearing into water was not even explained, it's like they just said "ah *beep* it, who cares"

EXACTLY!... They TRY to explain, but the explanation is just stupid.

For example (and just one example), the trick with the plane at the end... Only fans and rain do not give anyone the flight sensation. It is also necessary to simulate the effect of the forces of gravity on the body, especially during the take off. People inside the false plane would notice the lack of these forces.

Just like being in a car simulator, you will not find the experience real if you do not have the effect of gravity throwing your body to and fro, according to the curves.

And HOW they move all the plane to the Thames' waters, without notice?

The show the stage of the plane at end, it is sitting of some sort of hydraulics.
Ever sat on a fake ride? It really gives you the g forces in the stomach.

Also, the bad guys where not watching out of the window, nor where they paying attention to gravitational details.

Yes, "The Eye" has unlimited resources (since its supposedly going back to the first tricksters in Egyptian times), so money and manpower is not a problem.

The problem with this is: the sheer preparation for such a stunt is MONTH not 24h. Also building and programming of a 1:1 copy plane takes weeks to make it right.

Alone for the "trick" with strobe lights and water, takes like weeks to setup correctly at that place. They had to have all the tricks and people trained month it advance, in London, just for the sheer possibility to do this plot.

CGI was used for 85% of the tricks you see on screen.

If you didn't see the CGI... that is your problem..

And it isn't even good CGI....

Eisenwaffle made rain stop mid-air and then reverse direction... uhhh...

Well that is a real trick - the demo of it - the dripping tap in the Chinese magic shop - is a real thing. Of course scaling it up to pausing and reversing falling rain is a stretch as you can't really do that with multiple drops of water. Which is why the trick in the shop is a single stream. But least that trick has a basis in fact unlike most of the 'magic' in this movie which was just CGI.

Really? No CGI? Explain the banana at the beginning.
