so the tv shows have nothing to do with the movies?

No, they are completely unconnected continuities.

The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths tried to connect them in a multiversal way (Routh's Kingdom Come Superman said to be the one from the Reeves movies and Routh's own Superman Returns; Ezra Miller's Flash turning up to meet Gustin's version) but not really anything more than nods. I'd be surprised if the movies ever acknowledge the TV shows. Having said that, there is speculation amongst some fans that Gustin will return the favour and pop up in Miller's upcoming Flash movie.

Miller's upcoming Flash movie has been upcoming for about 10 years now.
And is currently being headlined by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton.

It isn't often when the TV version of a character is so much better than the movie version.
