1. Friday the 13th series
2. Nightmare on elm street series
3. Freddy vs jason
4. Halloween series
5. Hatchet series
6. Valentine
7. laid to rest series
8. Scream series

Scream 1 & 2 are the best quality slasher films. The others usually rely strictly on a cool villain.
