Why hire a big star like Scarlett Johansson?

The Jurassic Park franchise never hires a star. When Jeff Goldblum, Chris Prat, and Bryce Dallas Howard did the movies they weren't stars, for Christ's sake some of them weren't even in B-tier, but in C-tier.

Everyone knows the real stars in the franchise are dinosaurs and VFX. To hire a star like Johansson, the movie needs to spend at least 20 million on her salary, not to mention the back end.

So her back end gets a separate fee? I can see why.

reply

I'd pay an additional $15 to see her back end.

It draws people’s attention.

When they are making a sequel to the franchise of Jurassic Park, they already have everyone's attention, which is why despite not having any star in the franchise, it earned 6 billion!

Spielberg wanted Harrison Ford as Alan grant ,

reply

Oh, I didn't know that, it's interesting. I can understand why Ford turned down the role, Grant is very similar to Indiana Jones.

I would like to see Scarlett Johansson be a dinosaur-human hybrid

reply

Maybe if Paul Verhoeven was the director. Oh man, that'd be awesome. Imagine him doing a dinosaur movie?

reply

Yeah, that would be such a cool visual experience!

reply

He's still alive so there's still time! Imagine an R rated JP/JW movie.

reply

Because the last sequel of which I am aware of, drew less profit than the first nostalgia laden movie. That is the reason.

In what planet were Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dalas Howard "B-tier" actors? Let alone C-tier...

ROFLMAO!
