You're way off regarding Sharlto. He's an A+ actor and seemingly under utilized in Hollywood. I've enjoyed him in every role he's taken and if he's simply being choosy about which roles he takes then he's not just a great actor he also especially smart. Or has a very good agent.
He's actually become a strong reason for me to go and see a movie I might have previously passed on.
shareQuentinHackatino I want to say for all the people here disagreeing with you, I was about to make the same board, with a title like "Sharlto Copley=mediocre movie?" or something like that. The movies I remember him by have decent to good set-ups, and go straight to the sheizzer later on. Chappie and District 9 are the ones that come to mind inmediately, because they´re the ones when we see this high school level acting and they have interesting takes that end up crushed by going in completely stupid directions.
However in other movies, when he´s not in the lead, he can make some not-terrible acting, like Elysium (not a good movie, but he´s not THIS bad in it) and A-Team was ok too, I guess.

He's been everything from really good to very great in everything I've seen so far (and I've seen all of his movies). One of my personal favorite actors.
But everyone has different taste and so on...
