Yeah me too. I had read the reviews and I was wondering how my brain would react, but my daughter and I both really wanted to see this movie (it's ok, she is 19). As it turned out I felt no ill effects at all. A couple of stomach drops - such as when he was climbing the building and almost fell, and running on top of the bridge with a sudden right turn... Fun stuff! We both enjoyed the hell out of it. My daughter said she felt a twinge of motion sickness, but not enough to bother her or take away from the fun.
While I was watching it I was thinking this definitely isn't for everyone, and I understand why people would have problems, but it was an absolute blast for us. Afterwards I felt not so much like having watched a movie as having gone through an experience.
I suppose that was a big part of why I liked it - I wasn't expecting a deep plot or characters so much as the thrill of the ride.
When it comes out on blue ray I will have to sit really close to the TV...
