I've watched this yesterday and for some reason it just didn't click with me. The first one did much more for me. Maybe it's just me, but i also thought they showed the enemy/ghost/creature too many times and it never really was scary at all. That or horrors just can't scare me at all anymore.
shareIts defo better mainly because its set in the UK which is superior to USA's 'every house looks the same' type horror movies. Also the kids in this movie have much cuter accents than the whiny 'but mooOOOOommm' american accents.
shareI'm surprised by the love for this film, but I wasn't that crazy about the first one either. I found both films only moderately entertaining and minimally suspenseful.
"Conjuring": 6/10 stars
"Conjuring 2": 5/10 stars.
If they conjure up a third installment – and you know they will – I think I'll sit that one out.
