Don't you HATE when they start to sing?

That's why I never liked Disney movies, since when I was 4... they start to sing and I'm like: Oh stfu, nobody wanna hear that s_hit

Baloo in the river was good but King Louis singing... such a song, felt completely out of place.

Can't remember any more singing than those two.

Peter Bishop: I lost a universe!

I absolutely LOVED and still love the disney classics including the songs, most of them were composed so beautifully! The instrumental soundtracks were also very amazing (like Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast for example)

I agree tho that it didn't really fit in this movie, but they kept it sorta short and I always loved Baloo's song so I didn't "hate" it completely...

The child actor is another story tho...

I couldn't disagree more with you. The movie only included two songs, and in both instances they were performed warmly and humorously, with a nod to the original animated film. I thought that the songs added a special touch to superb CGI work.

*...stfu, nobody wanna hear that s_hit..."

You sound very immature. And are you really so naive that you think everyone feels the way you do about the singing in the film?

I gotta say I agree with the OP. The songs were awful. They fit a cartoon fine, but here, they seemed wildly out of place, and neither Walken nor Murray did a good job with the songs they had. They really are jarring and don't seem to belong at all.

Whores will have their trinkets.

My opinion is the polar opposite. I think the dark tone of the movie needed occasional tension loosening, and the surrealism of these songs was fine. The singers performed well. Of course, Walken would be a great reading a phone book.
