I could see it ending with an elaborate prison break.

Given Gene turned back into Saul in a you can run and hide but can't escape yourself way. I see him in jail running scams to get contraband to use as currency with the other Prisoners, pretty much enjoying his status as the go to guy, Saul the Toilet Wine King so to speak (lol).

Saul is going to die I bet.

I got the idea that Saul will go to prison but the last scene will be of prisoners approaching him for legal advice. It would be a little too bittersweet for this franchise, though. The ending will likely be much darker.

He could end up dying. IMO, that would be the best ending.

He could be chased by the police and die by a bullet or a car crash.

Then, again, he could fake his death and have the vaccum guy set him up with a new ID. Ideally in some foreign country.

Could be a long shot but Mike had previously discussed Walt in Saul’s office in Episode 10, saying:

“Well, if the cancer doesn't get him,
it'll be the cops or a bullet to the head.”

Foreshadowing this to Gene, the “Cancer” (guy in bar) didn’t get him. We have yet to see if “the cops” get him. Assuming they don’t, the last choice would be “a bullet to the head”.

Maybe he catches wind of Kim’s confession/betrayal or that the vacuum guy is no longer available and he opts for #3?
