People Need To Die

In the last epidsode. All this build up needs some release.

!!! SPOILERS !!!
I thought that maybe we some tiny body parts in the explosion. Kaboom! That's an ear. Wiedershen is good bye, but instead of Werner getting blown to smittereens, he takes off to see his wife. What a horny toad!
It was a great episode to set us up for the season finale, but now I'm gonna have to watch Scarface (Al Pacino) or something. And what's happened to Howard since the time jump? Maybe he gets a scene where this time he visits Jimmy to rub a little salt in the wounds of him not getting his license back.

What do you think happens in the last episode of Season 4?

reply

Nacho will die for sure.

reply

Ouch. He's one the fave bad guys. I have to agree because he's in-between as in you want to cross on the green and not in-between. Someone said that Werner left because he thinks they're in danger and not just because of missing his wife. He could have figured it out after listening to what Mike said. Werner could have gotten blown up, too, as he would have to do risky work like checking for explosives wiring and rigging.

Nacho (Ignacio Varga) was likely still around in Breaking Bad.

As in there is a reference to his character in Saul's initial appearance on Breaking Bad. When Saul is held at gunpoint by Walt and Jesse, Saul (mistakenly thinking that people sent by a person named Lalo are holding him at gunpoint) says "it wasn't me, it was Ignacio. So Nacho up until that point which was Season Two: Ep: 08: Better Call Saul was known by or working with Saul, Lalo of course being introduced more this week with giving Hector the Bell.

i don't see howard as the villain that you do.

the german is kaput, perhaps his wife also. maybe the whole crew. that should satisfy your blood lust ;)

nacho, don't see it. the salamancas have been given no reason to suspect him. to them, he's smart, discreet, reliable.
maybe i'm missing something.

gus may very well be fired on. that greasy conversation with victor's nephew could indicate the salimancas are onto him, somehow, or simply have a bad smell, which is enough.

something slippy is going down with someone on that review committee. kim may have some ideas.

Jimmy is probably more of a villain to Howard than vice versa. At the same time, Howard seemed like a role model for him when he was first working at HHM. Then Howard became less of a role model and good guy to Jimmy when he teamed up with Chuck to get him for breaking and entering. Thus, there's some differences between the two, but not enough to for Jimmy to think that Howard's a villain. We still don't know how his role going forward is going to develop. He's not as close to Jimmy anymore because Chuck is gone, so he could become more of an antagonist to Jimmy turning into Saul.

Ziegler probably will have hard time in the desert. He may have water, money and supplies, but he needs to get on a plane and they'll have the airport staked out. He also needs a ride to the airport, so will have to figure out how to get that if he gets past the desert. The big questions are is Chuck going to take him out and how is he going to do it? I figure they can get another engineer. Then there is the aftermath of what to tell the rest of the crew about what happened. Ziegler may try for another airport, but then it's harder to get to. Maybe he knows somebody in the area. As for Mike, he may take it more personal and do the job himself. Maybe not as brutal as what Gus would do, but it should be something good. Mwahahaha.

Nacho's story is just picking up again. I can't see him getting offed so early. The cartel trusts him now, but inside he wants out. I don't think they'll let him just walk away with his father. Then there's Gus and I don't think he'll let him walk away clean either when he is his ace up the sleeve card against the cartel. Furthermore, Lalo wants Nacho to stick close, so I don't think he'll be able to escape anytime soon.

I don't think Gus is in any danger. He's too smart and he's covered his tracks. While he and Lalo may never trust each other, how is that any different than Gus and Hector's relationship. Plus, he's got Nacho.

The last episode is called Winner. I can only think Jimmy comes out on top within the different subplots. It could be Werner making it back to Germany, but likely Gus has people over there he can contact. Can you think of anyone else who could end up a winner?

reply

have a very hard time seeing anything for werner but death. nothing else makes sense. they have to make an example of him, they have to squelch him, he has broken every rule.

there is no way he the equal of mike in a cat-and-mouse game, brilliant though he is. he's not a master cop/crook.

reply

I don't think the main reason he left was to see his wife. He wanted to escape because he thought Mike and Gus would kill him for the bar blabbing.

reply

I agree. It's pretty clear he's despondent about something. I thought the wife story was a ruse. I expected him to kill himself. The bar blabbing doesn't seem to be enough reason why, but his face sure looked as though he was in complete defeat.

I just watched Scarface and feel much better now. Less stressed. Some people better die in the final episode or else.

I can think better relaxed. If you watch the episode 10 Winner extended promo, we see Mike being calm when he's not, explaining his thoughts about giving some slack to Ziegler, but you know he knows that ain't true. In the regular trailer, he's laying scratch getting his car out of a parking lot. That's not calm. Lalo is watching the Los Pollos Hermanos trucks using ruby coated binocs. Looks cool, but not serving its purpose (see below). There's some filler stuff and Jimmy looking down at Chuck's tombstone. Will he finally cry and let it all out or will he take a pee? Kim and Jimmy looks like they're trying to get Jimmy's reinstated. Will they have another con? What was interesting was seeing Lalo looking p*ssed in Nacho's AMC Javelin with a gun in the glove. Then Kim and Gus and a car pulling up a gate or something at night Jimmy stressing out in a car? And maybe a car being followed as it passes Lee's Electric Services. Mike enters a store that looks like a travel agency. Tips for watching preview trailer. Watch it once at .25 speed.

Just one death in this finale. Poor guy :(

reply

There were two deaths. Don't forget that poor ginger kid at Western Union.

I would even say 3 deaths but the third is figurative. The person we knew as Jimmy is dead. He's been completely replaced by the thing we know as Saul.

reply

was he dead? I thought we just saw his legs. but yeah he probably is.

Lol @ ginger kid. Just curious but if he had black hair would you say "poor black-haired kid" or just "poor kid".?

reply

I can't help but notice the word 'orange' in your name...you wouldn't happen to be a ginger would you my friend?

For the record, I have nothing against gingers. I love The Adventures of Pete & Pete ok.

reply

haha good catch.

lol I used to watch P&P as well. No worries, cheers!
