Perfect besides Logan Marshall-Green

He was passable, but I wish they would have found a more charismatic actor for the role. At first, I did not like Jodi Anne Balfour in her role, but she grew on me and ultimately surpassed him. They needed a Raylan Givens to Damon Herriman's Buddy. Not the same character but an actor as Quarry who can carry an ensemble. Timothy Olyphant wasn't the best actor on the show, but he still carried the show, if that makes sense. Marshall-Green is decent, but he doesn't have it.

I totally agree. I'm struggling to stay interested at S01E05. I usually like LMG but I just don't really care what happens with him at the moment. I keep reading how great the last episode is but I'm not sure I'll make it.

Mac is a totally different character to Raylan Givens though he’s a broken man on the edge of sanity.

I thought the performance was fine for the character.
