Great visuals, great cast, decent story, apart from the Quarry character and his wife .
Their scenes ruin the show, all of them .

Watching two snivelling losers, played by mediocre actors, in endless scenes about their relationship, it's just tiring .
The guy can grow facial hair, the girl has breasts, that's about the extent of their contribution to the show .

What a waste of an otherwise brilliant cast and atmospheric film making .

I just commented on that in another thread. I was going along with them until about the 3rd episode.

When the 2 actors got a chance to elevate their performance, to really shine (in episodes 4 and 5), they ended up very mediocre.

Their relationships is supposed to be a compelling part of the show (I guess), but somehow I don't care very much about it, the actors could not sell me on it.

The 2 lead actors are really underperforming. The rest of the main / recurring cast is fine. (Just spare us of the scenes with the black son).

Their relationship is far and away the weak link of the show. Every episode is loses all momentum when it gets back to the "I'm trying to save our relationship" stuff which just got more boring with each scene (to the point where I fast forward in those scenes). If it was a 2 episode thing and we get on with the show it'd be okay, but my god, 8 episodes, it was tedious in what was other wise a fine show.

I like Logan, but I think they needed to choose a stronger actor for his role, if only more charismatic.
