So when Bats and Supes fight, Batman waiting for Superman it makes 0 sense. By coincidence they fight because Luther saw the signal so he had Martha kidnapped in order to get Superman to fight Batman.....But when Batman put up the signal, he just stands there thinking Superman will just come....But if Luther never did what he then Superman never would of showed up. And Bats did not know what Luther was doing, so Bats expecting Superman just to show because he put up his signal made 0 sense.

Superman explicitly told Batman, "Next time they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it ... consider this mercy."

Batman put the signal up himself as a fuck-you to Superman.

THAT's why he expected Superman to come.
