Christian Bale played Batman in the lauded Dark Knight trilogy for over 7 years before Zack Snyder rebooted the character to fight Superman in 2016's Dawn of Justice. While Ben Affleck's version of The Caped Crusader received high praise, some couldn't help, but wonder how Bale's Batman would have fared in this new world. Well, wonder no more! It'd make The Dark Knight Rises pointless.

They would have to heavy retcon the ending of Rises. Cuz both Bruce Wayne and Batman are dead. So for Bruce to be walking around and doing press etc etc would make no sense.

Bruce doesn’t die and it’s heavily implied that John Blake will become Batman
