I checked Metacritic and it got mixed reviews but critics didn't watch the whole season. Now that it's over, is it worth it?

No, it was wasted time.

Stephen King oversold it.

Well mf. How many shows have you liked, that others said was bad. Or vice-versa. You may be missing out on something that YOU personally would think is good, regardless of what others think. Do you need to ask others if that was worth reading? Watch the 1st episode and see what you think.

pilots are usually not a good indicator of a series' quality. that's why i'm asking people who have seen the whole season, mf

The first episode in this is not the problem though.

The problem was how unfinished the whole series looked in the end.

So, this isn't good advice.

Ever heard of IMDb? Personally I don't watch time travel shows anymore.
