Seems like a smart version of "Interstellar"

shareThis was a boring subject titled the first time you posted it.
"Interstellar" was a smart version of just about any other space-related movies of recent years, but to enjoy it requires paying attention.
shareHarumph. As in "I didn't get a harumph out of that guy". I agree. "Gravity" was so unreal but people liked it. "Interstellar" was far better, and thought provoking.
shareInterstellar: Science crew trusted with trillion dollar ship with a lot of lives and time invested in them decide that "love" is the answer when faced with a tricky problem. B- (generous grade)
Ad Astra: Anti matter coming directly at us from Neptune; Oh that was just something those guys were doing, never mind the plot. Plot developments from, apparently, some other movie show up in the middle. Travel time to each destination like 2000% shorter than reality. Smart. C grade mess of a movie.
And almost an hour shorter.
shareActually Arrival was a smart version of Interstellar.
shareInterstellar was much better than Ad Astra, Gravity and The Martian.
I was quite underwhelmed with Ad after the good reviews, but then again I should know better than to trust today’s reviewers, especially after they eviscerated Rambo: Last Blood which was great.
Funny how the people that always post "Smart" threads are usually dumber than a box of rocks.
shareWhat?? There is nothing smart about this movie. It's just two hours of schlock. At least with Interstellar, they made an effort to accurately portray the physics involved.
