I know that Justice Smith sometimes gets flack because people say he's a terrible actor (I especially saw that criticism with Detective Pikachu and his motion captured character in the video game The Quarry). What did you think of his acting in this movie? Good? Bad?
shareI can't stand that guy. He's a charisma vacuum. Always plays the weak, easily scared, emasculated imbecile who screams in terror and cowers while strong female characters take the helm and kick ass around him, no matter the situation or movie.
His 'transformation' in this movie from an inept charlatan to a respectable sorcerer was unconvincing and he just can't portray strength and masculinity if you put a gun to his head. Don't hate him as much as Jayden Smith (ever since seeing that dipshit in The Day the Earth Stood Still), but don't think much of him as an actor. Maybe he'll get better with time and maturity.
