Without question, the scariest thing about this movie, and I haven't seen it yet, is that the family had a working VCR to play the tape? Seriously, a tape? You know things are gonna be downhill from there.

Not sure, but it might have been a dual dvd-vcr player.
Them things are great for committing vhs tapes to disc.

how can you get one now? a dvd recorder that can record tv onto a dvd?

I own a video player but rarely used these days. Guess I have a quaint affection for it.

It's 2017 and I still use a VHS machine, my dad still uses one, one of my sisters still as one in her living room and one of mates still uses one.
