shareAudiences for new horror movies tend to skew younger. I think the they saw the target audience for The Eras Tour and the Exorcist overlapped too much.
The audiences for Barbie and Oppenheimer were different, so they didn't compete against each other as much. That's what they were expecting anyway. I think there might have been some truth to that, based on who i saw in the theater when I went to Oppenheimer. It definitely skewed older.
