Saw Heretic Last Night

I chose this review not for its Christian source but because it was the best writing out of several that expressed similar opinions. (Rolling Stone, Variety, etc.)

I saw it with two girlfriends and we all liked it a lot . Hugh Grant was wickedly wonderful and the Mormon Missionary girls held their own opposite him both in acting and in their Faith.

Memo to Mr Grant: Drink more water and get yourself some moisturizer. ;D

I really like it, especially the scene where he compares religion to Monopoly (“Bob Ross” Monopoly being Mormonism) and explains how religious groups always copy off each other like how “Creep” copies “Air That I Breathe”

Yes, the 'iteration' analogy was interesting. I had never heard of the The Landlord's Game, but its inventor rang a distant bell. Elizabeth Magie was a proponent of Georgism which refers to the economic perspective that instead of taxing income or other sources, the government should create a universal land tax based on the usefulness, size, and location of the land.

I believe she was a Quaker?

And yes, the song iterations were also an untapped touch of intel.

One more thing. Reed's carvings of the girls appeared to me an homage to the soap dolls Boo Radley carved of Jem and Scout in TKaM.

i LOVED the first half, or portion of film, prior to the girls descending into the cave-like sanctuary.
the conversation was much more engaging than the bloodbath climax.

I fully agree. Upon reading my comments again, the bits of the movie that were noteworthy for me mostly all occurred in the first half.
