I just started this movie and I’m having issues getting into it because the psychologist lady is so flat affect in her speaking that I’m having issues getting into any scene she’s in. Is this just how the actress is or did they write a potentially powerful lady in a boss position as being flatter than my ass?? Did this bug anyone else?
shareBecause the psychologist had incurable, terminal cancer, and she knew it. She probably was a lot more lively and personal before her diagnosis. But afterwards, knowing she was going to die soon, just sucked all the life out of her. That's why she's so emotionless & nihilistic. That's why she went on the mission - to accomplish one last thing, to satisfy her curiosity about an enigma.
