Loved the live show.

How do they arrange so many cameos in a single episode. The writing has been much "tighter" and less stiff this season. Shelly is still stealing all of the scenes :0) All of the characters have great lines and maintain my interest. The only character I wouldn't miss is Danny's sister Leslie. The live show was non-stop hilarity; more, please. Please, keep up the good work. Thanks, to all involved.

The three Scrubs cameos were easy as Bill Lawrence produced that show as he does this show. Mike Catherwood is Bianca's husband, and Dr Drew is Mike's co-host on Loveline, so there's a quick connection there.

The others I'm not sure off the top of my head, but I agree what a great episode!

Thank you.

Actually 5 Scrubs cameos or connections. Obviously Braff, Faison, and Neil Flynn (the Janitor). Christa Miller was Cox's wife on Scrubs. Scott Foley was also on Scrubs for a little bit as Elliot's boyfriend.

Thinking the same thing. Thank you.

I see fat people! Are you alright, Haley Joel Osment?

reply

Yes, the live show was very, very funny!

I would seek you even unto the maelstrom of the blackest tempest of the darkest night - Caliban

The live show, last evening, was great.
I was laughing enough that the other half came out to see what I was watching.

The live show was fantastic. No EPIC. All those cameos were (for me) so completely unexpected for such a little show. The actual plot was pretty solid like any other episode but Live just made it even better.

Really I loved the show before the Live episode but it's that one episode the show went from a more b grade comedy to something far ahead of most comedies on right now.

I just started watching the live episode and I am digging it already.

There was an East Coast and West coast version of the show. They were slightly different, some different lines & acting like making fun of Justin weight a bit more in the West coast (following what was probably improvised in the East coast feed).

One of the cameo was also different, one of the 2 girls at the bar was Minnie Driver for East but Kate Walsh on the West feed.

They are different enough to enjoy watching them both.

I'm watching the West coast version now - very funny. The line about "the ugly guy from Whitney" had me laughing out loud.

reply

I think the next line after that should have been "that's ok, no one else did either." Lol

reply

Same. That's exactly what I said.

I actually think the thought crossed the actor's mind, but he didn't want to be too crass.

According to the West Coast listing, the girl they are fighting over is Victoria Justice from the Disney Channel.

And the connection might be from Bridgit Mendler who also did shows on the Disney Channel.

reply

Victoria Justice was on Nickelodeon shows, not Disney Channel
