I saw this already...when it was called 50 FIRST DATES!!
Blatant rip off or what
shareNo. This looks as if it will be a sentimental film, not a comedy.
It is a Hallmark Hall of Fame.
When has Adam Sandler ever made a comedy?

As far as I know, the first film to employ anterograde amnesia as a plot device was 1994's “Clean Slate,” starring Dana Carvey as a private detective in the middle of a murder case. He had to leave himself taped messages, to play back each morning, so he could keep abreast of the investigation.
It seems that after “Clean Slate” and "50 First Dates," it’s finally time for a more serious—though still accessible—take on the subject.
Stop discs ting the technicality. It's a rip off of 50 first dates. Period.
shareExactly what I thought when I saw the trailer...I'll still probably watch though.
shareSadly, I will too.
shareI watched 50 first dates, but never liked it and Adam sandler / drew b pairing was unrealistic never liked it. this one is hallmark but with good writing/acting so if you like romantic and drama this is it. I personally loved it and enjoy it a lot.
"damn thing just does what it want"
#BATB on the CW!!
So far from what I seen, this film is already better than 50 first Dates. Sandler has not had a good film since the Waterboy
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2604794/
The Sandler movie didn't just occur out of nowhere. The situation occurs in real life plenty(http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/12/06/when-my-husband-lost-his-memory-i-had-to-win-his-love-anew.html). I would say the Notebook even beat it to the punch with the same general theme in novel form. As well undrer the same umbrella are Groundhog Day and 12:01 and Source Code having that romantic do-over theme
"what is your major malfunction numbnuts?!!"
Lol, that was funny... Wasnt really a comedy though, a little humor but not much. It was a cute movie. :)
shareI thought it was an entertaining little fluff TV movie.. but yeah, why couldn't the 50 first dates writers sue?
The Ellison story "ripped off" for The Terminator (it was a big trial) was MUCH different than 50 first dates/Remember Sunday.
I liked both movies. I thought 50 First Dates was sensitively done, and funny. Same with Remember Sunday. The important differences were That Drew couldn't remember her accident, or her boyfriend; there weren't people trying to sabbotage the relationship; Adam, the boyfriend, was aware of the problem and tried to work around it. Almost the opposite plot in R.S. - victim aware, girlfriend not aware, unhelpful friends. I thought Zack Levi's character brought sincere pathos to the role, and the confusions seemed realistically done. Zack and Alexis seemed to have a wonderful chemistry as well.
Y'know, there's really not much new in movie plots. Almost everything has already been done and redone in one form or another, some much better than others. Much of the success of a movie is up to the direction, acting, script, and scenic design.
