Did they rush the weekend visit?
They met this family in Italy, and they had one lunch / dinner together. Is that really enough time and interaction to set up the trip to visit Paddy and company? They gave Paddy their London address, as he wrote them at their home. How often do you give people your home address? And would you really go visit someone you hardly know in the boogies? And would you spend multiple nights in their home? I just found that detail strained credulity
