Garbage remake pussified for American audiences

Just an absolute waste of time. Offers nothing if you saw the Danish film.

I saw the original and it was brutal, so I knew what was coming, and watched and wondered what they are going to to with the ending. To be honest I thought the tone of the movie throughout was pretty faithful to the source, but I was completely not surprised to see what they did in the last part of the movie and the way they 180 flipped the ending. Very disappointing. I'll write my own rant about it.

Haven’t seen the Hollywood remake yet but I’ve got no doubt they’ve pulled another Vanishing (1988) and botched the ending, defeating the whole point of the film 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ll check that one out. I generally detest remakes, esp. US remakes of European films.

After Civil War and Longlegs(yeah they’re not remakes) I’m not sure if anything needs to be pussified for American audiences.
