Jada Pinkett, who narrated the series, blamed white supremacy.

reply

I think Elizabeth Banks and Hilary Clinton have that in common with her.

I mean they blame everyone but themselves for their failures.

I think 1 is the lowest vote can be given, that means it is pretty unanimous.

reply

Exactly. As if white people are the only ones who review stuff on the internet.

reply

It was probably brigaded by Egyptians, so she should be blaming Egyptian supremacy but she's too scared to do that.

reply

I know some politician is trying to sue Netflix. He won't succeed but Egyptians are definitely mad.

reply

Of course he'll succeed, as will Egypt itself! This show is telling complete lies!

reply

I wonder is she realizes she's just branded every Egyptian alive as a white supremist?

reply

Jada Pinkett is a cheating hoe who turned her once beloved Will Smith into the world biggest cuckhold

fuck that ho...

reply

Can’t let Smith off the hook. It takes a simp to be a simp.

Dude could’ve had anyone, and now he lives his life like an average shnook.

reply

tru dat, homeboy decided to stay by his hoe wife. poor fucker dug his own grave...

reply

If it was just a bunch of nobodies on the IMDb downvoting it, then perhaps she'd be right. I know a lot of alt-right types tend to flood the IMDb and RT with politically-motivated votes, BUT the fact that 10% of professional critics have also given it a bad rating on RT, suggests this isn't simply an issue of 'racism', but an issue of *quality* and, likely, historical accuracy versus blatant ahistorical propaganda.

reply

It's definitely a lack of historical accuracy thing.

reply

"I know a lot of alt-right types tend to flood the IMDb and RT with politically-motivated votes..."

Yeah, because we know liberals would never do that.

reply

Yeah, I was going to post the same thing about 1.0

Every episode is a 1.0 too.

How can anything be a 1.0 with 60K votes? This must be hilariously bad.

reply

Obviously it's getting ratings bombed but I guess it deserves it if they race changed the real life person it's based on.

reply

Apparently is not just that. The show is pretty bad overall.

reply

I read the RT reviews, and yeah they're saying it's bad. But an average rating of 1 means it's definitely ratings bombed.

reply

95.4 percent gave it a 1. And one percent gave it a ten.

reply

I need to speak to that 1%.

reply

You mean to Jada, her hubby, her kids and her son's friend?

reply

Yep.

reply

That's why I referred to the professional critics' percentage on RT. One often has to take anonymous ratings on the IMDb and RT with a pinch of salt, due to ratings bombings, but if recognised professional critics are also giving it terrible reviews, it's much faired to take the negative feedback at face-value.

reply

Should’ve called it “Cleoshanequa”.

reply

When people complain about racism, *this* is what they should be focused on.

reply

Why should they be focused on "*this*"?

reply

You just made it on *this* my radar, you super light sleeper. ☻

reply

Yay, my first follower.

reply

Be happy. 🎵 🎶

And now I'll return to what I just posted before in this thread.
Cheerio! 🍒

reply

Maybe it was meant as a mockumentary but nobody got it.

reply

That would be hilarious.

reply

Imagine if This Is Spinal Tap had been treated this way? "Why are they making a film about *this* POS band?"

reply

I am surprised IMDb hasnt deleted the negative votes yet.

reply

are there any positives? some things can't be fixed

reply

IMDB did delete a load of 1* votes for Rings of power, but by an extraordinary coincidence IMDB is also owned by Amazon.
