The fact that she is in this movie has seriously put me off it altogether. Sorry but she is not a good actress at all.

Her ever-changing/disappearing Southern accent was extremely distracting.

I believe she is a great actress and to me she was one of the best things in this sequel. Really good performance and very likeable character. It was great seeing her again in the big screen.

IMO Shannyn was very very good in this movie. she made the character 100% likable which had me invested in her character's fate.

She has become a much better actress which is why she is getting more work all of the sudden (this, regular on Wayward Pines and Sleepy Hollow).

As someone else posted, she has the likability factor: there's something soft, sweet, and maternal about her. She plays a great mom.
