Is it really as bad as the critics suggest?
I really do want to see it because I loved the first but the 3% on RT kinda scares me.

It's not as bad as they say at all, it's actually quite good. I think it could have used something, not sure what... I guess it's just not as dark as the original, but the original has a very gruesome ending...

Not half as good or original as the first one. This is actually uneeded, quite generic. Anyways, I was entertained enough as the leads were likeable so I didn´t mind that much. I went to see IT Follows today and it was awwwwwful. I can´t believe the praise it got. I had to get out the theater halfway thru since I was bored and uninterested in whatever was happening, (more like nothing was happening). I think it´s better to have a bad critic and realize that it wasn´t that bad than to have the opposite.
Never check the critics, I have to see it for myself. Movies can be good or bad but are they entertaining?
id seriously *beep* any critic up if i met them. they're all useless frauds
shareYou might as well see it.
RT has very different scale than IMDB ratings. I think the formula is that every rating over 50% counts as 100%, and every rating under 50% counts as 0%. So if you had 1 Fresh Rating and 19 Rotten Ratings, it would get a 5%. I could be wrong, but I think thats how it works.
Either way, its not a sequel that will ruin the original at all. You might finish it feeling bored or overwhelmed, but the storyline doesnt ruin any characters or mess anythinhg up.

No. I actually found it creepier then the first movie. Besides, critics liked 'The Disappearance Of Alice Creed' soooo...
